Wore this on my Hen Do 2 years ago - fab Baum & Pferdgarten dress which used to sit on my waist and has transformed into a handy empire line to encircle the bump! |

#VintageFaceandStyle 1980s inspired look: vintage clutch and jumper, shoes and coat from Sue Ryder, Topshop Mom jeans and Mikey ear candy
I was in London at the beginning of Feb planning a personal shop. It was cold so I layered up wearing an awesome M&S knit from a Sue Ryder charity shop, leather jacket, COS duster coat and Topshop trousers.
I commissioned John Steel to take some photos of me for my website. We ended up having the most fun plus he's a great photographer. Wearing Zara lace top, Banana Republic skirt, Zara shoes and vintage fur wrap (originally worn for my wedding).
Really upped my scarf game this year - this beauty is from Accessorize worn with COS wool coat and Zoe Karssen jumper.
Strong scarf game yet again. Also loving my shiny show pony hair. Thanks Kerastase Resistance!
This week ended with an impromptu photo shoot on a viaduct in Greetland, Halifax, Laura, Queen of Vintage who owns and runs Grandma Eileen's Vintage, interviewed me for her blog. Read it all about it here..
Scarf from Topshop, 'fear' eyes and hair all models own
For my hen do I glam squaded it up in a Baum-und-Pferdgarten dress, Topshop blazer and vintage Bally shoes. Plus some faux fur. Can't not have faux fur on your Hen Do!

Me getting in on the parka trend early. Parka from charity shop, Topshop jeans, Harry Hall boots plus various other layers as I was freezing in Colwyn Bay. THE Dress. From Zara. Wardrobe happiness ensues....
Blouse from a charity shop (£3 bargain), faux fur cape from Per Una (very old!), leaves from the trees.
I remember buying this Henry Holland t-shirt. I was living in London in 2007 and I met my sister after work for a drink in the East End. I was sitting in a bar waiting for her and there was this boutique next door. These t-shirts were so fashionable, I cannot even describe how wide my eyes got when I saw this t-shirt just hanging there. After checking out the price tag (too expensive) and knowing instinctively it as too big (one size) I still removed it from the rail and dream-walked over to the cash desk. That was 7 years ago and the t-shirt, even though I fell outta love with it and at one time considered selling it (FYI you can't even give these babies away on eBay anymore), has quickly become my go-to logo t-shirt; I just tuck it in, roll up the arms and me and the tee are good to go. And now, because everyone sold there's or gave them away, mine looks pretty original.
My denim shirt has quickly become a wardrobe staple. After I cried tears of joy in a GAP fitting room in February after unearthing it from a sale rail, I have worn it pretty much weekly. I'm on a mission to style it many ways so I don't get bored of it. Here is is tucked under my vintage sequin top and adorned with a cotton necktie.
When I did my Image Consultancy course the trainer said "you are either a jacket person or a cardigan person". Never a truer word spoken. My sister is all about the cardigans. I can't stand them; always falling open over the boob, draping weirdly and what's with the misplaced pockets? Na, hand me a jacket any day. I've had this YaYa jacket from Atterley Road smooching around in the back of my wardrobe for a sometime. Why? I never wear red. For reals. This winter all that will change and this slouchy biker jacket masquerading as a cardigan will do just fine for keeping me warm when I'm sat tap tapping updating this here blog! |
I was working from home in this Zara sweater dress complete with razzle dazzle sequins on Wednesday when I remembered I had a networking event. Quickly popped on the M&S boots, some phat jewellery and exited stage left. At the 'do' a lady said "You work in fashion. I can tell from your clothes." Amen sister. |
